Core Gameplay Loop

Players take on the role of a wizard exploring a crypt. The board is a grid of tiles. Each turn, the wizard can move to an adjacent tile or use a spell to remove an obstacle. The goal on every level is to locate the exit tile and place bone tiles around it to proceed. Every action consumes a turn, so players must think ahead to avoid running out of moves.

Spell & Obstacle System

Spell tiles appear on the board and can be selected to clear blocked paths. Different obstacles may require specific spells or combinations. Managing spell usage is important, as resources are limited. The environment itself can sometimes be used to a player's advantage, such as positioning the wizard to reach multiple objectives efficiently.

Level Design & Progression

Each level has a unique grid layout, ensuring no two puzzles play the same. The crypt setting provides a consistent visual theme, but the arrangement of tiles, obstacles, and exits changes frequently. As players advance, layouts become more complex, requiring longer sequences of moves and more strategic spell use. The game is designed for desktop play using a mouse or keyboard. Clicking on adjacent tiles moves the wizard, and selecting spell tiles casts them on obstacles. A full-screen mode is available for a more focused view. The interface is straightforward, allowing players to concentrate on puzzle solving rather than complex controls.

Success depends on planning several moves ahead. Players must decide whether to move toward the exit, collect bone tiles, or use spells to open new routes. Sometimes the best approach is to clear a path first, while other situations call for immediate progress. This turn-based structure rewards patience and foresight, making each decision meaningful.
